Our mission is to provide a rest stop for those individuals who tirelessly accompany their loved ones to and from medical facilities for extensive cancer treatment. By offering temporary lodging, we hope to bring some solace to these devoted companions and ease the burden of care giving, thus restoring body and spirit for the journey ahead.

Friday Harbour’s lodging program will provide free housing to caregivers and guests in order to alleviate the strain associated with finding or funding accommodations, especially after long days supporting treatment.

While lodging is Friday Harbour’s primary mission, we will partner with other organizations to provide solutions to other needs such as transportation, food, local sports, cultural events and other resources needed by our guests.
